Hi, I’m Hananya

A tenacious, loving and energetic artist

Artist’s Statement

My images are visceral expressions created during daily art sessions. Each image goes without any language or intent attached to it by the creator. They are very process oriented images in the sense of automaticity and situational immediacy rather than imagined, planned and executed.

When I first recognize some appealing quality or character, I immediately finish and move on to the next piece. I like to consider each image as if it were both a character, in the personal identity sense, and a character, in the ideographic/logography sense. I hope one day to make a large language family from the total collection.
